Memory Card Exploit Installer
The LoadBOOTer-based installer can provision supported PS2/PSX/DEX exploit/update targets and can bind a user-provided ELF when the required signing material is supplied.
Installer flow
Open the exploit installer from Tools/MISC, choose a supported installation mode, then follow the target-specific prompts. The installer detects console families so it can select the appropriate signing/header behavior.
Bind a custom ELF
Choose Choose other ELF and select a native ELF. A user-provided PS2KEYS.dat must be in the same source folder:
usb0:/APPS/
├── MyApp.ELF
└── PS2KEYS.datPS2KEYS.dat is intentionally not bundled with this repository and remains at the source location; it is not copied onto the memory card.
Console-family selection
| Detected family | Key section | Header style |
|---|---|---|
| Retail SCPH | retail | DNASLOAD |
| DESR / PSX | retail | FMCB-style target |
| DTL development systems | dev | DNASLOAD |
| Arcade / System 246/256 / Python 1 | arcade | DONGLE |
| Python 2 / SCPH-50000MB family | retail | DONGLE |
Signing material
The repository documentation may describe the expected PS2KEYS.dat field format or fingerprints, but does not distribute private/proprietary key material. Users are responsible for supplying lawful signing data.
Back up the card
Exploit installation modifies boot-sensitive files and folders. Make a card backup before replacing an existing exploit or experimenting with a custom payload.
