Preservation needs attribution#
This site is a synthesis of recovered documentation, maintainer posts, community testing, local notes, and modern launcher/fork material. Credits are grouped by contribution area rather than treated as download endorsements.
Original documentation#
ShaolinAssassin preserved and organized a large body of POPStarter wiki material. krHACKen authored POPStarter and many of the authoritative technical explanations behind the command, config, patch, and IGR behavior.
Regional guides and mirrors#
El_Patas and other regional guide authors kept long-form setup knowledge alive. Retro-Jogos and archive captures preserve important wiki-era pages when original hosts are gone or inconsistent.
Compatibility work#
Hugopocked, krHACKen fix-pack notes, and title-specific community testing preserve the practical game-fix layer. These sources are valuable precisely because they are per-game, not universal magic patches.
Modern launchers and devices#
El_isra's POPSLoader, Ripto/NathanNeurotic fork work, BDM Assault, wLE_kHn, OPL fork behavior, and hardware testers expanded practical launch options beyond the old wiki's original scope.
Current archive work#
The local research pack, uploaded notes, source inventories, and validation scripts keep the public site searchable while respecting binary and link boundaries.
Credit is not redistribution#
Naming a project or source does not mean this site can host proprietary packages or link unsafe mirrors. The public archive stays focused on instructions, hashes, provenance, and safe source labels.
