0. Rip your CD images to bin/cue.
   Rename them ff8-1.bin, ff8-2.bin, ff8-3.bin, ff8-4.bin

If you used Clone CD, rename the img to bin

0a. Apply any PPF patches to your bin/cue
- They probably won't work when the new image is created

1. Run extract.bat
- This will rip the files out of your 4 FF CDs

2. Run patch\cd2dvd.bat
- Removes the disc swapping, allows DVD5 access

3. Move the contents of CD4 to folder 'merge' (overwrite all)
Move the contents of CD3 to folder 'merge' (overwrite all)
Move the contents of CD2 to folder 'merge' (overwrite all)
Move the contents of CD1 to folder 'merge' (overwrite all)
- File merge\___merge.txt has a pre-built CD tree

3a. Run patch\lba_script.bat
- Inserts an address table (LBA numbers)

4. Run merge\build.bat
- This will create your new disc, ~2.90GB

5. epsxe_dvd5\bin
- This is your new epsxe 1.7.0 (DVD5) emulator to be used
  with the Run ISO (*) / SaPu DVD5 (*) / PeoPs DVD5 CDR plugins.

Allows your game to access 160-480 minute sectors.
Normally this isn't allowed with regular PS1 hardware.
