0. Rip your CD images to bin/cue.
   Rename them ff9-1.bin, ff9-2.bin, ff9-3.bin, ff9-4.bin

If you used Clone CD, rename the img to bin

1. Run extract.bat
- This will rip the files out of your 4 FF CDs

2a. Apply any PPF patches to your bin/cue
- They probably won't work when the new image is created

2b. Run patch\cd2dvd.bat
- Removes the disc swapping, allows DVD5 access

3. Move the contents of CD4 to folder 'merge' (overwrite all)
Move the contents of CD3 to folder 'merge' (overwrite all)
Move the contents of CD2 to folder 'merge' (overwrite all)
Move the contents of CD1 to folder 'merge' (overwrite all)
- File merge\___merge.txt has a pre-built CD tree

4. Run merge\build.bat
- This will create your new disc, ~2.67GB

5. epsxe_dvd5\bin
- This is your new epsxe 1.7.0 (DVD5) emulator to be used
with the SAPU (**) / PEOPS CDR plugins.

Allows your FF9 game to access 160-320 minute sectors.
Normally this isn't allowed with regular PS1 hardware.
